The Drive

Have been on the road quite a bit in the recent weeks — ended up making a petite and wishful statement to a friend — “Life should be a road trip, where you don’t forget to take along your things.” Things are awkward now. Need to finish this IIT business. But the end is dragging it’s feet.

Meanwhile; trips in the recent past:

  • Nagaon — Beach, Football, Motorcycles, Chicken
  • Pune — Home, Food, School, People
  • Goa — Beach, Food, Wine, Squid
  • Mumbai — Sea, Rain, Corn, Traffic

Have got to this wierd phase in life, where I do not get too much mail — by past standards at least. And it is surprising because I have been making all the effort that others seem to put to stay in touch. Unnerving to know that when you try to stay in touch with people, it becomes cursory. Akshi insists that this is because I have decided to do this all of a sudden, but am loathe to believe that’s the cause. I guess not being myself, is going to be an expensive proposition.
