This has been the longest break. But at the end of the day it’s hard to see that the sunflower is chasing the sun. I have actually had some exciting things happen between then and now. I quit my job and then recanted. Went to Russia. With love. Drove from Milan to Ulan Baator. With love. Moved to the land of the Fjords. Grappled with the terrible fear of death of a loved one. Made a maiden trip to Latin America. With love. And better still to Galapagos. With a camera.
There’s been a lot to write about that I have not.
But I can scarcely summarize as well as Ogden Nash did:
I often wonder which is mine:
Tolerance, or a rubber spine?
One day at a time.
